Dave was saved at the age of 14 in a Christian home.  He graduated with a bachelors degree in Accounting from Bob Jones University in 1979.  Several key events took place that year including Dave and Nancy's wedding and Dave surrendering to the call to preach!  A year later he returned to BJU for ministerial training and received a masters degree in Pastoral Studies in 1982.  After a seven year youth ministry at Marquette Manor Baptist Church, Downers Grove, Illinois (1982-1989), Dave and Nancy answered the Lord's call to go as missionaries to the Maritimes of Canada.  There the Lord used them in two ministries:  the further establishment of Stewiacke Valley Baptist Church (1990-1996) and the planting of Grace Baptist Church of Moncton (1996-2000).  Dave served as missionary/pastor in both ministries.  In December of 2000 Dave answered God's call as Senior Pastor of their home and sending church, Marquette Manor Baptist Church of Downers Grove, IL.  During those years, Dave also served on the board of trustees for Baptist World Mission, Decatur, AL.   In 2009 Dave was honored with a doctor of divinity degree from Maranatha Baptist Bible College.  Since October of 2009, Dave serves as Deputation Director for BWM. His ministry involves preaching in local churches throughout the United States.  He is also responsible for representing Baptist World Mission, recruiting missionaries, encouragement and training of the deputation missionaries, and administrator of USA Church Planting for Baptist World Mission.  He also looks forward to further opportunities to be an encouragement to missionaries on the foreign fields as well.

Nancy was saved at the age of 7 in a Christian home.  Nancy also graduated from Bob Jones University in 1979.  Nancy and Dave were married in December of 1979.  Nancy taught kindergarten and first grade at Southside Baptist Church, Greenville, SC (1979-1982), then kindergarten at Marquette Manor Baptist Academy (1982-1983).  Since then Nancy has focused on being a wonderful homemaker and pastor's wife.  She home schooled the children from 1989-2001 and currently is home schooling Emily since October 2009.  Over the years Nancy has organized many ladies retreats and ladies ministries in the churches where Dave pastored.  She also taught a ladies Sunday School class at Marquette Manor Baptist Church for several years.  Nancy loves people and loves to laugh.  She loves working with missionaries to be an encouragement and blessing.  Nancy's focus has always been her home, family and church ministry.  God has wonderfully and graciously blessed her labors, her children have risen up to call her blessed!

Jennifer was also raised on the mission field of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, Canada. She was home schooled until 2001 then entered Marquette Manor Baptist Academy for her Sophomore year.  She graduated from Marquette in 2004.  Jennifer enjoys playing the piano and can also play the violin.  Jennifer received a bachelors degree in History from Bob Jones University in 2008 and her masters degree in History Education from BJU in 2010.  Currently, Jennifer is teaching 7th-12th grade students English, History, and Music Appreciation at Bethel Baptist Academy in Hartselle, AL.

Joshua grew up on the mission field of the Maritimes of Canada.  He was home schooled until half way through his seventh grade year when he entered Marquette Manor Baptist Academy where he graduated in 2006.  He loves to play soccer.  He played on his junior high and high school teams at Marquette, then for his society at BJU.  Josh graduated from Bob Jones University with a bachelors degree in Bible in 2010 and a masters degree in Biblical Counseling in 2012.  Josh married Megan(Buffaloe) in June 2011. They are currently working and waiting on the Lord to open a youth pastor ministry.

Emily was born in Halifax, Canada and is proud to have dual citizenship in both the United States and Canada.  Emily was a student at Marquette Manor Baptist Academy through her eighth grade year.  Currently she is in 10th grade and being taught at home.  Emily enjoys playing piano.  She also loves her church youth group!
